The ritual — 5 stages
First steam and awakening the senses
The session begins with a gentle first steam in which the aromas of mountain lavender, mint and lemongrass unfold — a freshness with a faint herbal bitterness slowly fills the room. Traditional Altai motifs play in the background, drawing you into a meditative calm. The stage closes with a refreshing 'rain' of northern-oak brooms and a wash with a cool mint-and-fruit infusion.
Gentle venik massage
With soft, flowing strokes the steam master works the brooms (veniki) over the whole body — a light, relaxing massage without hard pressure that restores muscle tone and releases accumulated tension. Special attention goes to the areas where fatigue lingers most: the neck, shoulders, lower back and feet.
Venik heating and contrast
The body is gently warmed with eucalyptus and linden brooms, with particular care for the feet. Then comes an icy rinse and a cool-down with mint water, followed by vigorous work with aged-oak brooms in dense hot steam. The finale is a contrasting icy downpour that delivers a feeling of total reset.
Coffee scrub
A gentle coffee scrub with mint and eucalyptus softly exfoliates, tones and nourishes the skin, leaving it smooth and renewed.
Closing ritual
Warm steam, rich with the aromas of fresh mountain lavender, wood and juniper, reaches deep into the lungs and eases breathing. Additional fanning in wormwood steam deepens the relaxation and helps the body let go of tension completely.
